Our Travel Philosophy|
Experiencing Onsen Culture the Japanese Way
This journey is not designed around sightseeing highlights.
It reflects how Japanese travelers experience hot springs, nature, and time away from the city.
Departing from Tokyo, the route follows the foothills of Mount Fuji toward Hakone and Atami. Along the way, the pace slows naturally, allowing space for scenery, seasonal moments, and quiet transitions.
Accommodation is arranged at carefully selected traditional onsen ryokans, with a focus on atmosphere, balance, and cultural depth rather than scale.
This itinerary is a reference example. All arrangements can be adjusted based on season, preferences, and travel rhythm.

Who This Journey Is For
This three-day private journey is designed for travelers who value a slower pace and a deeper connection with Japanese culture.
Rather than rushing through famous landmarks, the focus is on atmosphere, space, privacy, and a refined sense of balance—experienced through onsen stays, seasonal cuisine, and unhurried travel.
This journey is especially well suited for:
-
First-time or returning visitors seeking an experience beyond standard sightseeing
-
Couples or small private groups of 2–4 guests

Travelers interested in traditional ryokan stays and seasonal kaiseki cuisine
-

Day 1 | Depart Tokyo · Mount Fuji Foothills · Hakone Ryokan Stay
Your journey begins with a private chauffeur pick-up from central Tokyo, heading toward the Mount Fuji region.
Depending on the weather and the day’s natural pace, light cultural or scenic stops may be arranged along the way to ease into the journey.
Typical examples may include Oshino Hakkai, known for its traditional village setting at the foot of Mount Fuji, or a short lakeside stop near Lake Kawaguchi, weather and timing permitting.
Stops are selected based on conditions, season, and guest preference, with the aim of avoiding peak crowds and maintaining a relaxed rhythm.
In the afternoon, arrive at a carefully selected traditional Japanese onsen ryokan in Hakone for check-in.
Guests are free to enjoy the onsen at their own pace, followed by a seasonal kaiseki dinner at the ryokan.
The evening reflects the quiet atmosphere of a Japanese ryokan stay, where cuisine, space, and time come together naturally.

Day 2 | Hakone · Atami Area · Onsen, Nature & Cultural Rhythm
After breakfast at the ryokan, the morning is spent exploring the Hakone or Atami area at a relaxed pace.
Depending on conditions, light stops may include Lake Ashi, Hakone Shrine, or the Owakudani volcanic area, with crowd avoidance as a priority.
Alternatively, a visit to the MOA Museum of Art or a similar coastal cultural space may be arranged.
By late morning or early afternoon, arrive at the second carefully selected traditional onsen ryokan for check-in.
The afternoon is unhurried, allowing time for onsen bathing and rest.
In the evening, guests enjoy a seasonal kaiseki dinner, followed by a private geisha performance, offering an intimate introduction to traditional Japanese music and dance within the ryokan setting.
Day 3 | Atami Morning Onsen · Scenic Stops · Return to Tokyo
Begin the day with a final onsen soak or a quiet walk around the ryokan, enjoying the calm of the morning.
After check-out, the return journey to Tokyo is arranged at a relaxed pace.
Depending on time and preference, a light scenic or cultural stop may be included along the way.
Typical examples may include a short walk along the Odawara coastline, or a cultural visit in Kamakura, such as Kotoku-in (Great Buddha) or Hase-dera Temple.
Stops are selected based on timing and crowd conditions to ensure a comfortable and unhurried conclusion to the journey.
The tour concludes with a private chauffeur-driven transfer back to central Tokyo or a designated location.
